Shepherds for Sheepdogs, Inc. is a non-profit organization located in Lenoir, NC whose purpose is to purchase and pair professionally trained service dogs with veterans and first responders who are struggling to cope with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or the lingering effects of Traumatic Brain Injuries. The dog, all amenities the dog needs, and the 3-day acclimation period are provided at no cost to the service member, veteran, or first responder.
